Hi! and welcome to our website. Here is a short snapshot of my life and career as a tooth jockey. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Highland High School. I then went to the University of Utah where I graduated with a B.S. in Medical Biology, with a minor in Spanish. I also happened to meet my wife at school (in chemistry class of all places). We were married right after I graduated and I started dental school the following week.
I graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1996 with a DMD degree. (DMD is basically the same as the DDS. Certain schools choose to give a DMD instead of the DDS degree.) After dental school I completed a one-year general practice residency, which is a hospital based dental program, in Chicago at Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
In 1997, we moved to Phoenix where I opened my own practice. We have 5 kids ranging from seventh grade to a senior in college. We have been in our current location for about 10 years.
